I see parrots!  They look very good already.  I hope one is a military macaw or a great green macaw, I don't have a figure of either.

What is the sculpting material you're using that holds such fine detail? Some sort of polymer clay?

In Chinese it translates to oily mud. It is made from a mixture of paraffin, stone powder, petroleum jelly, calcium carbonate, and color powder. It is a relatively hard clay that becomes highly plastic with increasing temperature.

Do you have more details on the Madagascar set? Is it all primates?

It was mentioned in the Toymany 2024 thread:

About the sets that toymany is expected to release for the rest of the year.

There are five sets in total, one with the frogs advertised above. There are two sets in the monkey category: one belonging to the primate family and one of the endemic lemur species from Madagascar. Molds for the previously advertised monkeys are already being made.
2. The bird set is the next set that will be produced, aiming to be out by the end of this year.
3. Horse set is under consideration. If time permits, a new set of horses will be designed

The rough sample of the parrot has been finalised. Pictured here is my photography colleague shooting footage for our social media


Sculptor Tian is the carver of this parrot set. He is also the carver of the monkey set.
He designed a tree just for this parrot. (Some back details shown, not finished, still updating details)


This is Sculptor Liu making 3D modelling of crustaceans and reptiles. He will use a 3D printer to realise it after designing it on his computer.


This is a semi-finished product.


Sculptor Zhou was carving a group of carnivores when I saw a hyena. As he had just started carving, I did not photograph it.

Of course we have other sculptors in other cities who have a lot of ideas waiting to be realised let's look forward to the future new products from toymany.

About the carnivores, please use this chance to create new species. You can ask fir help here or check the animal toy wiki to check what's already done.
I know you have to attract also the general public, but Im sure there are species good for both audiences. That hyena, for instance, can be a brown hyena and everybody eill be happy
