BlueKrono

I like turtles.

FlaffyRaptors

@bmathison1972 @BlueKrono Thank you both!

Ah, was hoping for a more refined version on the market. The Yowies one is quite crude in comparison to the likes of Kaiyodo and Ikimon. I hope one day we'll see a high quality rendition of this rare turtle.

EpicRaptorMan

I have the Schleich Galapagos Tortoise, the Pinta Island Tortoise, Hawksbill Sea Turtle, Leatherback, Matamata, Chinese Soft-shelled turtle in the collection.

Maybe will add the Papo Red-earred slider one day

Isidro

My turtle collection consist in alligator snapping turtle (Eikoh), Galapagos tortoise (CollectA, Pinta Island subspecies), Ganges peacock softshell turtle (heavily customized model from Yujin's Chinese soft-shelled turtle), Leatherback turtle (Papo), Matamata (Yujin), Pacific ridley turtle (Yujin) and Radiated tortoise (Colorata). I would wish that matamata, radiated and alligator were slightly smaller, but that's what I got.

JimoAi

my turtles I own are the old Colorata Green turtle, Papo leatherback and favourite co Archelon

How big is this sea turtle in comparison to Papo's Loggerhead?

I don't have Papo's loggerhead. Maybe @Saarlooswolfhound can compare the two.

JimoAi

I would like to point out that I've noticed that the figure features plastron that are characteristics of tortoises

Saarlooswolfhound

I don't have the Papo loggerhead. Sorry!

Papo 2024 red-eared slider (marketed as 'Florida tortoise'). Replaces a Kaiyodo figure, mainly because it looks a little more like an adult and doesn't require assembly.

Looking forward to reviewing this one and photographing it with my pet red-eared slider, who I've had for 32 years!  :o

It's much better than Safari's.

But is the Papo as large? The IC one was good for education purposes because of its size!

EpicRaptorMan

Eh at that point just go grab a real one for show n tell. Find them everywhere around here
