I wasn't originally going to get this turtle; it was a last-minute decision when I bought the capuchin and guineafowl. Glad I did though; Papo really nailed this one!

It's much better than Safari's.

But is the Papo as large? The IC one was good for education purposes because of its size!

I don't know how big it is, I don't have it yet, but I'm assuming it's smaller. Yeah, the size of the figures in the IC line gives them an edge as educational tools but that Safari slider is not one of the strongest figures in the line.

It is. I don't wanna talk about it though. I'm still miffed that the one I bought on eBay turned out to be a bootleg. It came with a slider too, also a bootleg.  >:(

the slider is on my shelf and not handy for measurement but based on my pic, you should assume it's in the ~3 inch/7-8 cm range (total, not carapace).

Red-eared slider,Trachemys scripta elegans, Papo Wildlife Series, 2024. Length 2.4 inches or 6.1 cm.
The figure is not marked with an ID, although it came in a bag incorrectly marked Florida Tortoise.
The dark brown color indicates an adult.

Comparison with the red-eared slider by Safari Incredible Creatures.

The ATF Blog has an informative review of a baby of this species by JimAi. This figure is available from Happy Hen Toys.

This is on my want list but at this point I might as well wait until all of 2024 Papo becomes available to save on shipping. I've already waited this long.

Florida softshell turtle, Apalone ferox, Safari Everglades Toob, #103648, carapace length about 1.5 inches or 38 mm., 2023.

EDIT: Comparison of the Florida softshell with the Safari Alligators Alive Toob softshell turtle, (on left) 2008 – 2017.
@bmathison1972 identified the older figure as Apalone ferox.  I agree with him.
The tubercles on the carapace are flatter than those of the spiny softshell.
There are scrapes to the paint of my figure, which I bought on eBay several years ago.
