Here's a link to the product page:
https://www.safariltd.com/products/white-stork-toy

Currently, items without stock do not show up linked in search results but the pages still exist. This should be cleaned up soon but for now you have to link the product page directly to see new items not yet in stock.

Anyway, the Stork is an Incredible Creature, measuring 4.75 inches high.

It has green fill between its toes for stability but if you have some skill with an Xacto blade you can probably chop it away fairly easily.

Thanks Shane, it's the best-looking white stork figure I've seen.

Overall very nice sculpt, especially the sculpting of the feathers and the paint job looks great. The 'base' put between the toes give a false impression of webbed toes, unfortunately. I understand having some form of a base for support and this is probably the best way to minimize it (personally bases don't bother me, so if there is a base, make it obvious LOL).

Regardless, it's not a taxon I need in my collection, so I'll pass.

It's a pretty decent looking figure yes. But I was hoping to repaint it into some sort of whooping crane or something.

I added the white stork and the Porbeagle shark to the first post.

Random question: are Safari toobs recyclable? Do you have to separate the clear and the orange plastic? I just got a few for my son's birthday and I'd rather not have them end up in a landfill.
I like turtles.

I think they're acetate, so probably not.

The caps might be.

@Shane can you shed some light?

The main clear portion of TOOB packaging has a #3 recycle number.

It is not always accepted in normal curbside recycling bins, but sometimes is (depending on area). It is not necessarily easy to recycle but does have some applications for re-use and can be made into other materials. It may need to be brough to a recycling center for processing.

The cap and base are #1 plastic and can be placed in most recycling bins, it's made of PP which is easier to recycle. The cap and base also incorporate recycled plastic into the manufacturing.

You can always hold onto the TOOBs as well since it makes it easier to store, transport and organize the TOOB figures.

Ah! I missed the stork!
It looks good!

PS: no one asked me why this stork looks good to me this time ;)
