Mojo has started their 2023 reveals. And before anyone asks 'is this it?', they typically do one reveal a day or every other day or so. It usually takes a couple weeks to get through all their reveals.

Wildlife:

Green anaconda:

Giant anteater:

Toco toucan:

Orangutan:

Aardvark:

European badger

Sealife:

Whale shark:

Octopus:

Farmlife:

A whole family of Romney sheep:

Prehistoric Life:

Wooly rhino:

The Safari anaconda is superior, but this is not bad, not bad at all.

NSD Bashe

that's actually a pretty cool idea seeing a new animal come out every day or two for a little while

Gwangi

That's a decent anaconda. I especially like the pose, which is far more realistic than CollectA's. Safari's is still the best though, and will probably remain so for a long time.

EpicRaptorMan

Finally someone made this thread.
It's a nice looking Anaconda. Everyone compares it to Safari Ltd's which is better but is also substantially larger.

Reminds me a lot of the Schleich Anaconda that I have.

bmathison1972

I could see myself getting this anaconda if I didn't already have Safari's. But no reason to replace Safari's!

suspsy

Where did you find this image, BTW? I didn't see it on Mojo's website or their Facebook page.

It is from their Instagram!
Always looking for new species...

Yes, Safari's anaconda looks great, but I might get this one because the Safari one, as nice as it is, is way too large. Will wait for some more pictures, though.  :)
Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened.

What's funny is that while the Safari figure is thicker, if you use head length as a metric, it's the same as CollectA's  ;)  8)  C:-)

next up is a giant anteater; I don't do social media, so if someone with Instagram can send/upload a pic here, I'll update the first post. From what I can see online, it's not as good as Safari's or Papo's, the latter of which is being re-released in 2023.

EDIT: first post updated :)

suspsy

Again, not bad. Looks like it's on par with the Schleich version.

NSD Bashe

The anteater releases along with CollectA's pangolin and Schleich's aardvark make this a good year for the long-snouted fellows

suspsy

I wonder if Mojo will be reusing any other moulds from Southlands Replicas. As much as I'd prefer a new prehistoric mammal, it would nice if they released the Thylacoleo so that more people would be able to enjoy it, even with a lesser paint scheme.

Updated first post with a toco toucan; Mojo is keeping the Neotropical theme going in 2023...

Yup, there's a definite theme here. Sadly, nothing is catching my eye so far, but this is Mojo we're talking about.

suspsy

And for a third time, my response is: not bad.

I guess the prehistoric animal(s) will be the last to be revealed. IIRC, that was the case with the mammoth and the Smilodon.

they tend to release them in themes, so wildlife, then sealife, then dinos, etc (not necessarily in that order, however)

GojiraGuy1954

Mojo expertly manages to make perfectly middling animal models yet again

EpicRaptorMan

Not bad but I think the Schleich Toucan beats it. Depending on the size I still may set it for a repaint.
