I updated the first post with new horses, cattle, black leopard, centipede, and a few dinos

...and YES there are still some more to come.

That centipede makes me instinctively want to stomp it, so well done, CollectA.

The black leopard also looks very nice. Say what you will about repaints, but this is one that makes perfect sense. And again, I think it would be cool if they released a spirit bear or a leucistic alligator in the future.

And while I'm not a fan of cows, that Tyrolean looks very well crafted. Better a new cow than yet another horse.

I agree with everything except stepping on the centipede LOL. I like the black leopard, but probably won't get it just because I don't need melanic (or albino) versions of common species in my Synoptic Collection. I might get the cattle one day, as I love different cattle breeds, probably the only domestic animal I'll go down this path with (maybe sheep, goats too).

The centipede is spectacular, but not a surprise to me. I have been waiting 5 years for an 'insect/arachnid' (not marine crustacean) arthropod by CollectA. I predicted the next one would be a centipede, ant, or wasp. I did not predict a spider, but if someone would have asked, I would have said black widow. Why? Because unlike dinosaurs and bovids, CollectA's insects are common and familiar. Please note, this is NOT a complaint; I have no problem with common and familiar, and welcome the same species by multiple brands (it's fun to compare). I would happily take CollectA's quality for common and familiar, and I am just happy a non-Japanese company still makes arthropods with some regularity!

I don't know if I'm right, but I think I've found their new sloth after typing collecta sloth on Google images. Its hanging from a tree stump eating leaves, it's on pinterest.

Try honeybrook house.  com. It's there too.

If you look more closely at the product description on that website, it's stated that the figure is made of polyresin: CollectA doesn't use that material for their products.

Thanks Badger for the confirmation on the sloth. Good figure nevertheless.  :)

Given that no other marine animals appear on that leaked list, no whales, no sharks, no fish of any persuasion, it seems likely that the horseshoe crab and the nautilus must be the Sea Life additions for 2020 as opposed to part of the Prehistoric line.

Which is pretty cool. The king crab and the octopus will enjoy the company.

Advicot

Even if the nautilus and the horseshoe crab are in the prehistoric range I'll be getting them nevertheless. As they're interesting new species to me. In figure form that is.  :)

Apparently there is also a puffin specified for the sealife line. Hopefully it's free standing, maybe even diving/swimming! Would be a nice change of pace from puffins stuck to rocks.

I have the Papo puffin and it's not stuck to a rock, neither are about half the options out there:

We all hope it is a different species than the Atlantic puffin, but unlikely.

For those who haven't seen, here is the full post in which STS user spacelab initially revealed the figures listed on the Greek website (no longer there). Note that, as Blaine has implied on the DTF, the categories are purely from the user's own discretion, and may end up not being the line the figure is released in (they did, afterall get the scale of the Megalodon wrong)

I'm guessing this Greek site didn't have pictures. As well how did someone stumble across the site and how on earth did they have all the CollectA 2020 figures listed?!    ???

No, they didn't. While I don't know how exactly how the site (collecta.gr) was stumbled across (although the STS user that originally posted the list is Greek, so that may explain it), I'm going to assume an employee at CollectA whom is involved with their Greek website accidentally revealed the figures early (hence why they've been taken down now).

Just tried to get on their site. It won't let me on?  ???

As we have said multiple times, pics are released once a week, late Thursday/early Friday, a couple at a time. There will NOT be any more pictures until the end of this next week.

Animalibus

I was a little disappointed. Malayan tapir was made in the same shape, same pose and size as Bairdii's Tapir, however the two species do not have the same body proportion.

bmathison1972

Updated with the horseshoe crab, a dinosaur, and a couple prehistoric invertebrates. There will be more extant models tomorrow (later today forum time) I am sure...

Hard to tell from this angle, but the horseshoe crab might represent the Japanese species, Tachypleus tridentatus. It is advertised as being 15 cm long.
