Before I start this Blogpost, I must again thank @Kenc and the folks at Toymany for donating this review sample. It is very much appreciated. As with other Toymany set reviews, this is a general overview to introduce the animal toy community to the set and does not prevent others from doing more in-depth reviews of individual figures.
White Stork, 2022 (Schleich Farm by Schleich)

Review and images by Animal Lover; edited by bmathison1972
The White Stork (Ciconia ciconia) is an elegant, graceful bird. It is a long-distance migratory bird, migrating from as far as southern Africa, where it spends the winter. In the past, due to habitat change, far fewer storks bred in Northern Europe.
Coho Salmon (3″ figure by Replica Toy Fish)

Here we are, the last fish release for general retail by Replica Toy Fish. Or, the last of the released fish, in truth all of the previous trout, charr, and salmon were all made available at the same time. In this instance, we have a coho salmon (or silver salmon), Oncorhynchus kisutch, another anadromous salmon species found along the coasts of both sides of the Pacific.
Chinook Salmon (3″ figure by Replica Toy Fish)

Here we are, back with another salmonid from Replica Toy Fish–but, as promised, not a trout! Or a charr for that matter. Instead, we are looking at an actual salmon figure, the Chinook salmon or king salmon, Oncorhynchus tshawytscha, released in the same wave as the rest of the previous trout and charr figures.
Rainbow Trout (3″ figure by Replica Toy Fish)

Back with another figure in the Replica Toy Fish Salmon and Trout releases, this time a very familiar species, the rainbow trout Oncorhynchus mykiss. More properly, based on the colouration and the North American focus of the company, this is likely meant to be one of the many subspecies of rainbow trout.
Peacock (Wings of the World by Safari Ltd.)

Review and images by Suspsy; edited by bmathison1972
If one had to compile a list of the most famous and beautiful birds on the planet, the Indian peafowl (Pavo cristatus), commonly known to most people simply as the peacock, would most likely be included on it. Here we shall examine the 2008 Safari Ltd.
Giant Panda, 2014 (Wild Safari Wildlife by Safari Ltd.)

Everyone’s favorite herbivorous carnivoran, the giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca) is also the most herbivorous species of carnivoran, with over 60 species of bamboo making up over 99% of its diet. The giant panda lives across six mountain ranges located in China, a sliver of its former range which once extended into southwest China, Myanmar, and north Vietnam.
Sun Bear (Mojö Woodland by Mojö Fun)

The sun bear (Helarctos malayanus) is the only member of its genus, the world’s smallest bear, the world’s most arboreally adapted bear, and the only bear that specializes in myrmecophagy (consumption of ants and termites). Features like their strong arms, inwardly turned forepaws, and flattened chest aid them in their arboreal lifestyle.
Stoat (Mojö Woodland by Mojö Fun)

Also known as the short-tailed weasel and ermine, the stoat (Mustela erminea) has a circumpolar distribution around the northern half of the northern hemisphere in North America and Eurasia. The stoat was also introduced to New Zealand to control rabbit populations but has been wreaking havoc on New Zealand’s bird population.
Harbor Seal, 2018 (Arctic & Antarctic Wildlife by Schleich)

In Celtic mythology there exists a creature known as a selkie, a shapeshifting being that takes on the form of a seal when in the water but can transform into a human by removing its sealskin on land. Selkie stories often involve a romantic relationship between a human male and female selkie wherein the human hides her sealskin so she cannot return to the sea, forcing her into marriage but resulting in an unhappy life for the selkie.
Insects TOOB (Safari Ltd.)

I have recently reacquired the Safari Ltd. Insects TOOB and thought I would showcase it for the Blog. There have been at least three (maybe more) iterations of this TOOB over the years, with I believe the first version coming out in 2004. At some point (I don’t know what year) Safari also released a glow-in-the-dark version of the TOOB.
Polar Bear (Wild Animals by Papo)

Paradoxically, the polar bear (Ursus maritimus) is both the world’s largest terrestrial carnivore and a marine mammal. They get their marine mammal designation because they live on water, albeit in the form of ice. Yes, that makes it a bit of a stretch to call it a marine mammal, but the polar bear is quite capable in liquid water as well.
