If you have access to Japanese and Chinese figures...

brettnj

Enter me (How could I not respond to that, Sean...).

Anyone interested in anything from Japan, please PM.

Thanks.

Getting figures from Japan is not hard. It may not be cheap but it's not hard. In addition to Brett's services, they are readily sold on eBay and shipped most anywhere.

Price is part of access. There's a pretty high premium to getting a lot of these outside of Japan. I know some serious collectors that don't even bother because of it

brettnj

Not to go too deep off topic but so as not to have anyone think that negates what we do, in addition to everything else we offer, we allow buyers to build orders for up to six months, saving enormously with combined shipping.

If anyone is interested in learning how we work, please PM.

Even if all things were the same, rather than choosing a huge international company, my source and I could definitely use and would appreciate the business.

Thanks.
Brett

Look @Saarlooswolfhound - some new Bandai for you!

Saarlooswolfhound

These are nice. Anyone know how much this series runs usually? Interesting to me that they would use 2 color phases instead of 4 unique species.

That's actually pretty common for a lot of the Japanese companies. Bandai especially

brettnj

I expect these will be the most popular Japanese (non-prehistoric) animal figures since the Wild Rush sets.

They are only available, like the two prehistoric sets that inaugurated the line, via on-line gashapon machine.

If anyone is interested, please PM.

Thanks.

@Saarlooswolfhound - please see Brett's reply above. If you are interested in acquiring them, I suggest working with him.

No wonder I've not seen this in my country's Bandai gashapon stores. Positive their online exclusive of available in select gashapon stores only?

The first two sets in this line--both prehistoric animals--were available only via on-line gashapon machine (so still randomly like an actual machine). See the corresponding notation in the top right corner of the image.

The release price was 1000 yen (Thanks, Blaine...) per figure for both earlier sets so it's likely to be the same for these.

Again, if anyone is interested, please PM and I'll detail how we work and how we're obtaining these.

Thanks.

And so as not to confuse anyone, that '1000' is yen, not US dollar. Right now, it comes to about USD $6.50 per figure  8)

In spite of myself I need a larger tanuki figure...

brettnj

As I just wrote over at the STS...

Also, I've been selling Japanese animal models for ten years and I've never once seen or heard the word/name tanuki. Today it was mentioned twice. Big day...

First one worth mentioning!
