Fembrogon

Nice to see the armadillo lizard returning to the market in some form.

A new, updated crested gecko set has also been announced! ETA February 2024:

Thanks @Fembrogon - I'll add it to the first post when time allows :)

Expected February 2024:

Diversity of Life on Earth - Mini Deep Sea Fish
1. Russell's oarfish, Regalecus russelii
2. Longnose lancetfish, Alepisaurus ferox
3. goblin shark, Mitsukurina owstoni
4. footballfish(Himantolophus; not sure which species as Bandai's site has an editorial error - will update when fixed)

@NSD Bashe @JimoAi @sbell

sbell

Not species I need specifically, but that lancetfish is especially tempting (I have the Kaiyodo one, but they're pretty unusual as figures and crazy fish in general)

Yeah I am on the fence about replacing the Kaiyodo lancetfish. But probably not since it's not an improvement (although I prefer a habitat base to a museum-style base)

Yeah, these Bandai bases are really nice. The figures definitely have a darker tone to them.

EpicRaptorMan

I was actually unaware of the existence of these lancetfish until just now.

One of my predictions kinda came true though the goblin shark I thought would be in the sharks set

looks like I'll be getting the lancetfish and the footballfish, consider the goblin and skip the oarfish

SerAndrew

Mmm damn...
I'm not interested in the oarfish, I have the Kitan one which I like best.
The gobling is better than CollectA and probably the best out there, but it will be too small (while CollectA is too big...)
Lancetfish is the best of this set, but I have the Kaiyodo one and I don't feel I need a replacement.

So I guess only the footballfish for me eventually

The dinos are only available only via reservation, limited by time and, we believe, also by number that can be produced.

If anyone is interested in the set, I would strongly advise contacting me ASAP.  I'll respond with details re: how we work and with specifics regarding this set.

The alternative is paying reseller prices in March.

My source has already purchased 100 figures, satisfying current orders, and we'll buy again on Monday to allow everyone time to see the info I post in various places.

Thanks.
Brett

brettnj

My source already reserved 100 Bandai dino figures, all but the spares beyond the complete sets requested reserved by our buyers.

Please PM ASAP if interested.

Thanks.
Brett
