I can't publish posts or add new posts to the ATB

Yeah, it's odd. I'm able to recreate the error in Chrome now (I usually use Safari and I don't have any problems with it in that browser) so I could do a bit more trouble-shooting myself. I disabled all of the plugins and the issue persisted, so it's not that. And I changed some server settings and it wasn't that. I think it is a setting in a service called Cloudflare that my host uses, but I don't have access to that. So, I've contacted my host to see if they can help.

Frustratingly I experienced, and resolved, this issue on my plesiosauria.com website (also runs on Wordpress) a couple of years ago, but I can't remember how I fixed it. Anyway, it's fixable, it might just take a little working out...

Are you playing around with the Blog now @animaltoyforum ? The images are not showing up for me, either on the main page or in a single review (although they are visible in my daily Museum post and those images are hosted by the Blog)

Maybe unrelated but I am getting the same problem with images on the Blog not showing up. This is the main page but it's the same on individual reviews. Interestingly, my daily Museum posts are fine, which are hosted on the Blog. This is happening on multiple browers at home and work, so I know it's not a computer issue

Update: the image problem is still on my home computer but not work computer. I cleared the cache but it didn't help. Maybe it just takes time to 'catch up'

BTW Adam I am available for the next two hours for a Zoom/Google chat. After that I won't be available until after 2PM (my time)

Hi, yeah, I was playing around trying to find a fix, and the images stopped appearing. They should reappear with time.

But the good news, I hope, is that I think I have fixed the actual problem and you should be able to post and edit again, from any browser!! Try it and let me know!

OK I tried on my work laptop earlier today and I didn't have any issues but I did at home. I'll check later today

I'm feeling pretty confident I've fixed it, being able to recreate the problem in Chrome helped me to solve it on my own. If I haven't fixed it then I'm all out of ideas to try anyway!

For right now everything looks good on my end and the Blog looks 'normal' again; none of those weird banners, ratings, etc.

Great! The issue was with Cloudflare as I suspected. I was eventually able to find and install this plugin to fix it: https://wordpress.org/plugins/cloudflare-flexible-ssl/ This isn't ideal an ideal solution as it doesn't really solve the underlying problem and the plugin may become outdated one day, but at least the blogs are functional again for now!

One thing I can look into, which might fix this problem long term, is to change the domain from http to to https using an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate, or modify the necessary settings and files if I already have a certificate. I might need access to Cloudflare for that, which I'm looking into.
