Mojo has started releasing some news:

Wildlife:

Arctic wolf:

fennec fox:

red panda, standing:

Tasmanian devil; this is the Southlands Replicas sculpt, which, like the horses below, were 'rescued' by Mojo:

perentie; another rescue of SR by Mojo (good for those of you who missed it the first time):

golden eagle:

peregrine falcon:

barn owl:

Sea Life:

coelocanth:

Horses:

Black Tobiano Cob Stallion:

Brumby Stallion (this is a re-issue of the Southlands Replicas figure, since the sculptor designs figures for both):

Brumby mare (same as above):

Lusitano, brown:

Lusitano, white:

Farm and Pets:

English bulldog:

Prehistoric:

wooly mammoth:

iS tHiS iT?!? (joking)

Interested in seeing what Mojo has in store. I feel like some of their figures are hit/miss and with the overall disappointment I've felt in regards to Papo, Schleich, and CollectA this year I have hopes.

I've added the wildlife. Tomorrow will be birds, fish, and prehistoric

EpicRaptorMan

I saw the 2022 Mojo Coelacanth on Instagram. Looks pretty good.

Too bad I just purchased the Safari Ltd one last month :0

Gwangi

The SR rescues are a welcome surprise, I'll definitely be getting those.

JimoAi

Colorata's Coelacanth is still better IMO

I enjoy Safari Ltd's albeit a bit large in size.

I like the perentie. Does anyone know the size of it?
Edit: it's 15cm (5.9in) I'd have to see the irl size of the figure before making my decision.

bmathison1972

I have updated the first post with three birds, one fish, and one prehistoric!

The barn owl is very nice, but I already have a nice one.

Looks like for me it's maybe the bulldog and the Brumby (unless I can get an original SR one from Minizoo)

BlueKrono

I'll get the coelacanth of course, but I'd pass on the rest.
I like turtles.

Nice to see a golden eagle finally. Sorely underrepresented in the world of animal figures given it's arguably the most successful eagle in the world.

Is this all?

Yes.

It's fairly well represented if you take Japanese figures into consideration.

EpicRaptorMan

Mojo's quality is sometimes questionable imo.
But assuming they are all good looking the perentie, golden eagle, and maybe the Arctic wolf

Peregrine falcon looks good but I already have one

Gwangi

It's nice to finally have a golden eagle, but I'm not terribly excited by this one.  :-\

EpicRaptorMan

I think it looks good but I'm not particularly crazy about the posture.

I understand, there's only a limited possibilities of postures for a bird, but I'll have to wait to see the details and sizing.

suspsy

Getting back to SR, I wonder if it's at all possible for Jason Smits to allow Mojo to use his saltwater crocodile sculpt. It would be a terrible shame if it never saw production.

it's probably the best monitor lizard figure. Definitely worth it.

I didn't realize that SR had given over to Mojo. Maybe they can save the Toy Fish Factory figures as well...

Is Southlands Replicas still even active as a company?

No, sadly they formally folded. At least for now.

That's too bad. Although at least the figures are still available. For now.

Makes me glad to have a few extra Diprotodon around--they might become extra valuable soon.

EDIT--just received a response from Southlands Replicas. No further plans for the croc, and not all existing figures will join the MojoFun line.

And apparently not all prehistoric species (there's only 3 so... not great odds)
