Thanks @Beetle guy - I think the Cyclommatus will be new for me!

EDIT: If the Cyclommatus is the same from the Encyclopedia of Insects Vol. 3 (2008) then it will not be new for me; @Beetle guy - can you tell?

I really looks like the same sculpt, I am going to get it if the paint job is good (my Encyclopedia of Insects Vol. 3 one has a rather bad paint job).

I think Schleich's manatee is an African

bmathison1972

No, Schleich's website specifically identifies it as a West Indian manatee by Latin name

another new one by Qualia; don't know date:

Anyone know where I can purchase these? I especially love the Commerson's dolphin and fishing cat. Plus the sea otters are sweet!🥰

Vaquita

Wow, both lineups look great! I'd love to get my hands on the Commerson's dolphin some day.

Depending on where you live eBay might be the best option or you can see if @brettnj can order it for you through his sources in Japan

brettnj

Hey.

To (self-promote and) clarify...

I will virtually always be your best option for anything from Japan, regardless of where you are.

To preface, even when I sell on eBay (which is not what we're talking about here), which I do for prices typically far higher than my direct buyers pay, I always make sure--by searching for the items before listing--that I offer the lowest prices including US shipping on the site. Of course international shipping costs could very well offset or even negate any savings (or not), but for US buyers, I am virtually always the best option.

That said, what I am referencing here is buying from my source in Tokyo and I directly and having your items shipped from Japan.

In this case, and I have over 100 international buyer names on my mailing list, it's virtually assured that we are everyone's (outside of Japan) best option.

For details regarding how we work, please PM.

Thanks.
Brett

What's your ebay store?

Hey JimoAi.

I don't promote my eBay page with known collectors because, as I mentioned above, even though I try to always offer the lowest prices on the site, I usually charge much more there than I do directly.

Here it is though...
https://www.ebay.com/sch/bmk17/m.html?item=193296297902&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562

Don't ever buy from it as, if anyone known to me through forums, etc., wants to buy from it, I offer an automatic minimum 10% discount selling directly since I build eBay's fees into the prices I choose there.

If you are actually interested in knowing the kind of deals you'd get with us directly, again, please PM with your e-mail address and request I send the information to you.

Thanks for asking.
Brett

BTW, I just looked on eBay and saw that the least expensive set is listed for more than $150 (!!) and one seller is selling individuals for about $135 each(!!!!).

One of my buyers just paid just about $60 including our fees (but not shipping (which will be combined with other purchases anyway)) for the set...

Brett

brettnj

And here is the set relisted for the same minimum (with which our buyer won) by the same seller...
