I've never used Ali before. Are they trustworthy? I'm always wary of Chinese companies unfortunately. Is there any way to know which set you will receive, or is it random? Even still, I see some very cool sharks in those sets - a frilled, a basking, maybe even a megamouth? Very cool species, especially for what would otherwise seem to be a cheapo manufacturer.
I like turtles.

I am planning to buy some of the sets in about two months time, but until then I'm actually not sure.
But if you would be willing to wait, then I could let you know if it is trustworthy. I also clicked one of the orange buttons and it let me choose individual sets, so you only get the sets you choose and actually want.

BlueKrono

Yeah, keep me posted! These are some sets is be interested in, in lieu of an eBay option.
I like turtles.

Alright BlueKrono!
I'll definetly let you know in the future (in about one or two months).

What a neat looking Beluga whale model!
It also has a good color scheme unlike other figures of this Cetacean which depict it in a more yellowish white.

The peculiar Blainville's Beaked Whale can be seen again! :)

Thanks, CeataceanFan! :) Yes, especially the Favorite one is almost more yellow than white. But I assume the photos in the first thread weren't visible anymore (I couldn't see them) so I fixed the broken image urls again. :)

I am comparing this figure with Collecta's one, and both with web pics of the real animal.

On this basis, I see two points. One, Beluga's real colour is all white, so Papo's upper colour in grey is less proper than the all-white of Collecta. Two, real Beluga's theets come in two rows that finish detached in the front part of the snout, without closing the arcade like in most mammals, and also in this respect Collecta's looks way more proper.

Your opinions?

I agree about that the colour should be uniformly white to represent a mature individual. At first I didn't understand what you meant by two rows but now I get it. Yes, there should be a frontal gap in the figure's dentition and the teeth shoud not build a complete arch.

Update on Happy Kin Toy sets on Ali, I found out that they are moderately trustworthy, reviews state having beat up boxes but the figures were in good shape. And the prices are pretty good, the set with the Right whale dolphin costs about 30 dollars with shipping.
