According to @Shane on the DTF, there are two more dinos to reveal this year!

@bmathison1972 hmm...not really interested in paleontology figures.
(ironic bc that was my preferred field)

But I also wanted to correct myself. Safari Ltd. requires a $25 minimum purchase instead of $15 as I thought.

Quote from: EpicRaptorMan on July 23, 2022, 09:48:37 AMDo I still have to find a new hobby even if I don't, and never have, like Toobs?

The Addax is cool; would rather a full size one.
And the Horned Viper too depending on actual size/quality. Dunno how I'd feel about buying the entire TOOB just for one.

Some toobs are worth it. I'd recommend the Endangered Animals-Marine toob just for the ornate ray (and maybe the sawfish). The rest is at best mediocre, but some is trash (I wrote a blog post on the toob)

I like when toobs include small animals, so I'm very happy with the desert one and will probably get both eventually for that nice eagle.

The great lakes toob is particularly amazing and I recommend it to anyone.

I updated the first post with the Dino Dana Stygimoloch.

Should be one dino left to announce!

I updated the first post with the Cryolophosaurus.

As far as I know, this is all for Safari 2022. Have to admit, it's a very nice assortment of figures. I personally will be getting seven:
Crylophosaurus
Patagotitan
Albertasaurus
Zuul
salmon shark
green anaconda
Sahara TOOB (but only for 3 figures)

Had I been starting my non-arthropod synoptic collection this year, I'd probably also had gotten the okapi and minke whale; I just don't currently need to replace the examples I have.

While I don't generally collect dinosaurs anymore, it's sometimes still fun to see these figures come out; I remember cryolophosurus being one of my favorite "weird" dinosaurs

Both of the new toobs look fantastic. Hoofstock are an area toobs really tended to neglect until recently and it's great to see them improving. Addax is a favorite of mine. The smaller animals are great but I always find those harder to appreciate until they are in hand. The cheetah is a big improvement on their previous effort as well.

I like the Asia toob although only eight animals feels so small. The panda, orangutan and tiger feel like big improvements on previous efforts and I love the garial, saiga, and rhino. The phillipine eagle was a good choice. It could definitely use one or two more species.

the Sahara Desert TOOB is now available on Safari's website

Just in case it flew under anyone's radar, the last Safari 2022 figure (the Okapi) has arrived and is now on stock on the website:
