I know you said that yours was a red ruffed lemur, but perhaps it came in multiple color variations?

Oh that's a cool looking model, never seen that before!

I remember choosing to buy an AAA ring-tailed lemur at a zoo gift shop once over the same sculpt as a red-ruffed lemur. Still regret that to this day  ::)

Going by the Toy Animal Wiki that seems to be made by Wildlife Artists, Inc.  Or at the very least is using a very similar sculpt.  They have a ring tailed lemur that looks almost identical to that, and according to their list they also have a black-and-white ruffed lemur (probably that one) and a "brown ruffed lemur"

My guess would be that the "brown ruffed lemur" is the missing red ruffed lemur, but it is up to the original poster to confirm the sculpt.

I don't suppose anyone knows how to get hold of the Play Visions Prosimians Set? I really want that Indri and Aye-Aye.

Ah man, good luck. You can try eBay often but they go fast. Another trick is to check large animal toy lots on eBay. People clearing out their/their kids' closets will often put a bunch of toy animals together. There are often treasures hidden among them. That's how I got the PV potto; it was in a lot of about 80 random plastic animal toys (I got a couple PV prosimians and bats in that lot...)

Aye-Aye Fan

Ah that's cool that you got those! Yeah lots are good but require a lot of scanning usually blurry photos but it's good to try at least.

Horsfield's or Western tarsier, Cephalopachus bancanus (Takara Tomy Ania AS-27), released in 2022.
Head-body lenght is about 1.5 in. or 3.7 cm. Height of base is about 3.5 in or 9.0 cm.
The figure is removable from the base, and is articulated to swivel the head and bend the hind legs.

A card in English identifies the species. A second card in Japanese is not shown here.
Distribution includes Sumatra and the Indonesian portion of Borneo.

Examples of the three genera of tarsiers: Cephalopachus, Carlito, and Tarsius.
   Horsfield's, Cephalopachus bancanus (Taraka Tomy)
Philippine, Carlito syrichta (My Favorite Animals)
Eastern, includes the spectral tarsier, Tarsius spectrum (Furuta).
Many tarsiers look so similar that species identification may rely on location and vocalizations.

I bought this figure on AliExpress. I like the size of the figure.

bmathison1972

Oh wow, thanks @stemturtle - I might need to hunt down that western tarsier (and I am pretty sure I am getting the new Takara bushbaby as well  ;) )

I'll email my source for a potential ETA!

EpicRaptorMan

I have the Furuta tarsier. And I think it's overall the best all things considered.

Bushbaby, Galago sp., (Takara Tomy ARTS, Gacha.), 2023, height about 2 in. or 5 cm.

Unidentified species. My guess is Senegal bushbaby (G. senegalensis).
Assembly of 8 pieces is required. Head, tail, hands and feet are poseable.
From a set of 4 PVC figures called Paradise of Monkeys; 2 bushbabies and 2 gorillas.

Label is in Japanese. Version A appears to be darker than version B.

Galago by Takara compared to the Bush Baby by Safari. Small is beautiful.

New prosimian figures are always welcome.
Thanks to @bmathison1972 for sending me the Takara bushbaby in a trade.

bmathison1972

And thank you @stemturtle for the PV brown greater galago in return!

endogenylove

Ahh, I have the action products and don't want to replace it due to it's rarity, but this figure draws me in more every time I see it, it is just so beautifully done! A dilemma indeed.

Scans of label.

This figure was introduced on the Forum by @NSD Bashe.
There is a thread for Wild Wraps started by @bmathison1972.

This could be a caution for the collector against being a completist.
