So they changed out the ray with the ornate eagle ray from the endangered ocean toob?
This is one of those toobs that have been around forever with minor tweaks.

EDIT - I just saw Shane's post elsewhere. I guess there's a lot of figure replacement from other toobs.
But I'd really just like to see new toobs of new species overall. There's a lot of ocean animals

The cetaceans in the new ocean toob also seem to be new sculpts to me? I assume from other toobs of the last few years. Shame that it doesn't have a new sea turtle sculpt.

The eagle ray now has the enhanced paint from the Endangered Species - Marine TOOB.

The sperm whale and humpback whale sculpts are now based on the newer versions from the Whales TOOB.

The dolphin is now based on a newer sculpt from the Dolphins TOOB.

The sea turtle is now based on a newer sculpt from the Galapagos TOOB.

The penguin is now an emperor penguin with baby based on a sculpt from the Penguins TOOB.

Aah cool thanks!

That Galapagos turtle sculpt looks like the one I got in my Galapos toob ~15 years ago. Now I have to wonder if that one's newer what one was in the old version of the ocean set...

This TOOB isn't taking the place of any potential new TOOBs, it's just refreshing the existing one with updated and better sculpts and paint.

Didn't think so. I just want new toobs! Especially fish because that's what I do.
