Here is a hint of Haolonggood's remaining 2025 figures. Looks like extant and extinct.

I assume the extant wildlife will be 1:35 like the dinos. Appears to be common hippo, rhino (white?), African elephant, lion, tiger, wolf.

I am also excited for the prehistoric croc.

Individual posts will be added as they are formally announced.

The extant offerings are all animals the market is flooded with but I'm still interested in seeing how HLG approaches them. These are also the animals you need to make if you're going to branch out from extinct animals.

Are we sure that's a wolf and not a hyena or an aardwolf? The posture and tail don't match with true wolves very well.
Trans rights are human rights.

I hope you're right!

But it's probably an awkward wolf with an unusual posture

bmathison1972

Honestly my first thought was hyena; someone else guessed wolf. Oh well, I don't need it either way.

The snout looks pretty pointy for a hyena, so I don't usually get my hopes up. I'm honestly still waiting for a definitive one.

tbh I don't really care ABT the extant ones since it's GG be the o es already done by other companies, prolly better. Terrestrial land mammals are some of my least favourite animals to collect especially lions and tigers and it has to take something very impressive to even remotely impress me

Please let the crocodilian be a purrusaurus tho

Sim

I'm hoping the crocodilian is Deinosuchus!  Paleofiguras reported the scale of the modern animals will be 1:18.

Seems likely. It's been a while since a toy model came out (Schleich maybe?)

Rebor made a Deinosuchus. Would prefer one from Haolonggood though.

I don't know if the Rebor would be considered toy - like. Haolonggood is kinda. Probably cheaper.

I thought you might say that but you also said "toy model" which leaves things up to interpretation. Model of a toy? Toys or models? Toys and models? Either way, Rebor's model counts within this community, I would think.

I guess. I've always thought of Rebor alongside ones like PNSO. Kind of toyish, but way too expensive for 'toys'. Haolonggood kind of straddles that line

I am actually hoping the croc in the teaser is a Deinosuchus as I am looking forward to replacing the Rebor one!

That's how I feel about it (other than not having the Rebor, I do still have the Carnegie and I think the Schleich).

And if it's not Deinosuchus, then it might be something even more unique (doesn't have the Sarcosuchus look, for example)

Sim

The silhouette of the crocodilian is of a Deinosuchus from a game, so I think if a figure is made it will be Deinosuchus without a doubt.
