For 2025 I am going to start something new in the 'New For...' child board. In addition to threads by company, I will also try to maintain threads for major taxonomic or ecological themes, that way a collector can see in the first post of the thread, for example, what all mammal wildlife are released in a year. This thread will be for Dinosaurs and Prehistoric for major brands. I will not be including Mattel here; please go to the Dinosaur Toy Forum for those. The list of threads will be:

Mammals - Wildlife
Birds - Wildlife
Reptiles and Amphibians
Fish and Marine
Insects and other Terrestrial Invertebrates
Livestock, Pets, and Poultry
Mixed Wildlife
Dinosaurs and Prehistoric

Some releases may be in more than one thread. I will start adding pics to these threads this weekend! Feel free to contribute to the thread, I'll do my best to keep the first thread updated! We will see how this goes; if it becomes overwhelming I may not maintain it in future years!

EDIT July 18, 2025: Due to the large number of entries in this topic, this first thread will be dinosaurs 'sensu stricto' (theropods, sauropods, ornithischians) and multi-species sets featuring only or predominantly dinosaurs. The remaining prehistoric animals (pterosaurs, mosasaurs, other reptiles, mammals, fish, invertebrates, etc.) and sets featuring mixed taxa will be featured in post 4 (below).

The Yell Dunkleosteus looks to be accurate to the 2023 study. Can anyone @sbell or @Halichoeres concur?

Definitely not. While it's overall proportions might (coincidentally) be vaguely closer, it has a number of issues with the general proportions, head shape, and fin structure. It's likely not been made with the new discoveries in mind.

I was going to say the same thing. It's a bit stockier, but otherwise seems off.

hey all
due to the large number of figures and sets in this thread, I have split the first post.

The first post is now dinosaurs 'sensu stricto' (sauropods, ornithischians, theropods) and sets that are all (or predominantly) dinosaurs.
Post 4 will be the remainder of prehistoric animals (mammals, fish, invertebrates, pterosaurs, mosasaurs, etc.) and sets with multiple taxa.

Everything Dinosaur Evolution 1:33 T. rex

We don't have a thread for brands like this, so I am including it here. I know several people order their dinos from Everything Dinosaur so I am including it case there is interest
