So way back when I became an offical "collector" (around 2009 or so) I also wanted to collect items from Schleich's History series and fantasy series as I genuinely like the elven horse mounts and their couple of dragons, unicorns, pegasus, etc. I never managed to get everything as a kid (I did get all the mounted figures from the pioneer sets, and a handful of mounted elves and knights). Later I managed to buy the big dragon family (Faraun, Antylar, and baby Nugar) with the money from my first real job.

Then both series sort of went down the drain IMO. Nothing of interest to me. But at least early on, most of their designs were still interesting and unique. Now they basically just pump out unicorns (either horsey ones or slap a horn on other animals). There are one or two here I find pretty nice- but would never buy unless I came across it second hand or on clearance...
