Best 1/35(ish) Sealife?

Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum.

I'm building a small collection of 1/35ish sealife, most specifically sharks, and I was wondering if, by any chance, there is a list of some good shark models that fit into that range?

I'd also be open to ANY other 1/35 sealife, especially bottlenose dolphin, moray eel, REEF manta, and giant pacific octopus.

Bonus points for a 1/35 saltwater crocodile :)

Thank you so much!

I bet @sbell @sphyrna18 and @JimoAi could be the best to assist you.

I don't have scale calculated for most of my figures, as I am doing the math as they come up for my daily Museum posts, but here are some in the 1:30-1:35ish range:

1. 2021 (reissue) Takara Japanese amberjack (1:20-1:30)
2. 2023 Takara common remora (1:16.7-1:36)
3. 2016 Safari great white shark (1:30-1:33)
4. 2015 Safari nurse shark (1:16.4-1:30)
5. 2014 CollectA largetooth sawfish (1:9.5-1:35)
6. 2019 Safari TOOB southern right whale dolphin (1:23-1:34)

Hope it helps a little!

EDIT: I forgot to mention, for most sealife, and fish esepcially, I use FishBase/SeaBase as my standard for calculating scale, unless they don't have the info available.

Unfortunately I don't have a quick and easy scale guide for my figures... probably would have been helpful

JimoAi

Ok so I'll try my best for going at least for mature specimen sizes

Bottlenose dolphin: Safari ltd dolphins toob

Moray eels are tricky since they're mostly length

Reef manta could go for the Colorata sharks of the world one

Giant Pacific octopus has the Favourite co or Kaiyodo models

The Colorata saltwater crocodile could be 1/35

The Colorata Scalloped hammerhead is in the 1/35 scale

The Recent Bandai goblin shark could work too

That's great thank you so very much everyone! I'm open for any and all recommendations!

Also, does anyone know the proper scale of the Safari Toob diver?

That's what I've got too, between 1:30 and 1:35 is probably fine

@JimoAi @sphyrna18 @sbell ,
Do you know of any other Toob creatures that would fit close to the 1/35 range, besides that bottlenose and southern right whale?

The sawfish and ornate eagle ray from the endangered marine life toob

The billfish, silky and oceanic whitetip works in the pelagic fish toobs, though not as fully grown individuals

Thank you all!

@JimoAi  @sphyrna18 @sbell @callmejoe3 ,

I'm curious how the Papo Orca fits accuracy-wise with the MBA figures?
I don't mind the seam, but is it just me, or is the proportion of the mouth a little small? Maybe I just haven't seen good enough photos of it.

Also, are there any good models of a 1/35-1/40 false killer whale?

Thanks so much!
