List of Species We Wish Existed as Figures

I know we've had similar discussions here but unless I'm just not finding it we actually don't seem to have this exact topic yet so...  I thought it would be interesting to have a thread to compile our lists of all species that seem to have never been made into figures (at least in mass produced form) that we most wish would be made at least once by someone someday...


I'll list a few of my top ones, and maybe add more as I think of them

Cock-of-the-rock bird
Black swallower fish
Five lined constellation fish (technically cryptid status but one of my favorite fish)
Giant pyrosome
Giant sipohonophore
Hydnora africana (plant)
Sundew plant (might technically exist as a toy but it's hard to identify for sure)
Sarcastic fringehead
Bearded angler (technically a DeAgostini figure exists but is very difficult to obtain here)
Whipnose angler
Snipe eel
Ghostly seadevil
Fanfin angler
Christmas tree worm
Tambja verconis nudibranch
"Jolly green giant" nudibranch
Gymnodoris aurita nudibranch
Wavy bubble snail
Purple sea snail
Basket star

Osprey, muskrat, gray fox, cane toad, and Greenland shark are some of my picks. There are some figures of these but they're all old, small, or crude. The Marx muskrat just doesn't cut it, lol.

I don't usually engage in wishlists, but the grey fox, as well as Dall sheep and mule deer, are long overdue in Safari's North American wildlife line. I have also been surprised by a general lack of osprey figures!

Pacific Sleeper shark, Leopard whipray, Smalleye stingray, Common Skate, Giant Guitarfish, Pitted Stingray, Reticulated python, Stellers Sea cow, False Gharial, Chinese Paddlefish, Dana Octopus Squid, Mugger crocodile, African rock python,Giant Moa. Could've included way more esp figures with only Toob sized reps but I'll stick to this selection for now

Pacific Sleeper shark, Leopard whipray, Smalleye stingray, Common Skate, Giant Guitarfish, Pitted Stingray, Reticulated python, Stellers Sea cow, False Gharial, Chinese Paddlefish, Dana Octopus Squid, Mugger crocodile, African rock python,Giant Moa. Could've included way more esp figures with only Toob sized reps but I'll stick to this selection for now

There is a leopard whipray by Colorata (I own a knock-off that I heavily customized after). There are some steller's sea cow figurines by various brands, but none at "standar" size. Schleich have a false gharial (traded as gharial), if well somewhat stylized compared with modern day standards.

I find the whipray and Gharial to be too unsatisfactory
