Readily Available Toy Jellyfish?

Are there any readily available toy jellyfish? These are really underrepresented.

Safari and AAA jellyfish are pretty easy to find decently priced on eBay, along with unbranded made in china ones (that might be knock offs of Safari)  Also there seem to be a lot of silicon fish tank decoration jellyfish in all the rainbow colors; but as far as many specific species of jellyfish and relatives like the Portuguese-man-o-war those can be a bit harder to find.  There are various Japanese brands that do depict some of these, but the prices very from somewhat decent to high to impossible-to-find.  Also there are some fun K&M models but mostly those seem to be pretty rare.

What size?

There are a lot made by Japanese companies in the 'gashapon-size' and many are available on eBay (at varying costs...)

I'm mainly biased towards European and American companies (Safari, Collecta, ect) but I do make exceptions sometimes and buy from Kaiyodo.

If you're in the US, Veghead has some of the K&M jellies: https://www.veghead.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=1_23&sort=2a&page=2&osCsid=0k9fht8he6q2g9uiu17qg28bl6

Wow they even have the rare deep sea "hulahoop jellyfish", and I can tell you that was way more expensive on eBay.  If you don't have it I strongly recommend getting it, especially if you're into the deep sea stuff

Looking forward to seeing it on the museum, same with the Kaiyodo Fangtooth

Some other jellyfish I know of but would like to have are

Safari's Weird Jellyfish (no species ID yet)

And Bullyland's Prehistoric Jellyfish Rhizostomites

The Safari one (I believe it's meant to be a type of deep sea jellyfish?) is at least on Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/Safari-Ltd-200429-Wild-Sealife/dp/B00HDSKI1I/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=safari+jellyfish&qid=1647403905&sr=8-2

The Bullyland one is more uncommon, though I've seen a few on eBay now and then; I think I recall finding it under a listing of "bullyland medusa" or something

bmathison1972

yes the Safari jellyfish has a name but can't remember (maybe something akin to Benthocodon)

Don't know if you're interested in this at all but there appears to be a fairly recent set of sea creatures by National Geographic I don't think anyone's mentioned here before, and it does have a jellyfish along with some different corals and other creatures

bmathison1972

I'd like the shrimp but don't want to have to buy all of it just for the shrimp

Parrotfish, jellyfish and the sea turtle looks good enough imo I'll buy the set soon

Gecko08

I agree with Blaine, I don't really want to buy that whole set for a few figures. But looking forward to seeing how they turn out in your collection

I would suggest the Kaiyodos for a standard sized collection.
