yes, they appear to be re-releases, maybe some repaints, of select figures from the two Yujin Saltwater fish collections. I don't have all the species, so this affords some of us the chance to get things we missed (for me the Trichiurus and Beryx are ones I don't have; maybe others, I'd need to check my database later)

They were initially released 3 years ago, way after Takara tomy bought Yujin.

Isidro

Strange. Looks like the exact same selection of species that already was released by (same? other?) Japanese brand long years ago. From these Theragra chalcogramma, Beryx splendens and Trichiurus lepturus was put into my wishlist.  I didn't knew they also had a Seriola dumerilii, I would not mind have that one in my collection too since is a fish I know, unlike some of the others.

This is at least the third set in the 'Dangerous Creatures' series. Nice! Def. getting that ant. Wonder what species; wonder if something African given the croc and lion

IMG_20210509_164322.jpg Takara Tomy is releasing a new shark set due August this year. @sbell nothing special except for the Sawsharks and tiny basking shark

Isidro

Yes, probably I would get it if it was not articulated (as the already existing sawshark models are not convincing to me)

sbell

It's kind of a maybe for me. I already have two Japanese sawsharks (K&M and Takara). I don't think this one will add much.
