Any figures made like a long time ago but is till very good for today's standards? Conditions are that sculpt of the figures must been made at least 15 years

Loon

I'd argue most of the MBA line hold up pretty well, particularly the whales. One figure I feel a lot of people sleep on is Safari's 2005 giant anteater.

I second that, regarding MBA. Another one I would nominate is Maia and Borge's gray whale. That original sculpt was around atleast since 2001, when it was released through Schleich.
It looks ridiculously close to to the real animal that it still remains the best Gray whale figure out there. No one has beaten it, the only limitation is the lack of genital slits.

Super agree with the Grey Whale choice, it's a fantastic model.

The sharks and rays are good too!

So it's better than the safari one?

So it's better than the safari one?

The Monterey Bay Safari one has its advantages with the genital and mammary slits, and it's a slightly better size for representing a mature individual at the 1:40 scale. It  was the best figure for the whale when it came out as the gray whale still doesn't have that many high-quality figures other M&B and CollectA.

But if we're just talking how well it captures the look of the creature, then it's the Maia and Borges figure by a long shot. It literally looks just like every photo and illustration of the animal I've seen in field guides. The current Mojo paint job I would say is the best.
