New member here, aside from grabbing the odd figure here and there, or ordering something nostalgic off of EBay on occasion, I'm not really an active animal toy collector now but growing up in the 1990s I amassed a huge collection of toy animals and dinosaurs from the various product lines at the time - AAA, Safari, Carnegie Collection etc..
I was a precocious kid when it came to zoology and paleontology so I had very high accuracy standards for my animal figures.
While some of my animal toys became damaged or lost to the ages in the intervening decades I've actually managed to retain quite a lot of them.  More of them likely languish, as yet unrecovered, in the attic of my parent's house.
My particular favorites are the AAA reptile figures that were apparently cast from actual taxidermy specimens.

Welcome Here, and I would be interested in seeing what figures you have  :)
Don't I take long uploading photos!

Welcome aboard! If you like the old AAA figures, you're certainly in the right place!

Thanks for the welcome.  I'll have to post some pics of what I have kicking around!

Welcome! You're right, many of the AAA figures were cast from moulds of real animals.
