Actually, not all of them have seams. Just some, like the Australian Pelican, but the Science and Nature one is an alternative. For all of the unique birds (Comb-crested Jacana, Masked Lapwing, Red-necked Avocet, Regent Bowerbird, all of the ducks, Magpie Goose, etc.), most of them are fine and don't have seams. As for the taxonomy, you are free to use whichever version you prefer. Just so you know, my preferred taxonomy is currently also preferred by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, the National Audubon Society, the American Ornithologists' Union, and the American Birding Association.

I follow the same taxonomy Birdsage :)

Yes. Feel free to search for the Magpie Goose, Comb-crested Jacana, etc. figures, as they don't have gaping seams.

that's good to know; I don't have those species, either!

I'm selling some duplicates and have one of the Masked Lapwing. You may buy it or other figures if you so choose.

Thanks, I'll take a look!

Could we possibly work out something as I see you do not ship to the UK  :(

I fancy these figures:

Grey Fantail
Kowari
Rufous Hare Wallaby
Phascogale
Lapwing
Scaly tail possum
Don't I take long uploading photos!

Perhaps if you paid the shipping or if we split the price, but shipping from the US to the UK is typically expensive.

Birdsage

I found a low-cost international shipping option for 10-13$ for 8-28 business days. Unfortunately, the Grey Fantail and Kowari were bought by a US collector. You still have a chance to buy the other 5 items you're interested in!

This is Part 3 of My Bird Collection:

Charadriiformes (Shorebirds, Gulls, Terns, and Auks):

Recurvirostridae (avocets and stilts):
A: Red-necked Avocet (Recurvirostra novaehollandiae) Yowie Series 2

Charadriidae (plovers, dotterels, and lapwings):
B: Masked Lapwing (Vanellus miles) Yowie Series 3

Jacanidae (jacanas):
C: Comb-crested Jacana (Irediparra gallinacea) Yowie Series 2

Laridae (gulls, terns and skimmers):
D: Unidentified white-headed gull (Larus sp.) Playmobil (This is too generic to qualify as any particular species of gull. It could be Iceland Gull, Glaucous Gull, Glaucous-winged Gull, or any other light gray-winged species without black wingtips)
E: Little Tern (Sternula albifrons) Yowie Series 2 (Very out of scale: there is a Japanese figure that is more to scale with most gull figures)

Wonderful! I have the advocet! I hope you consider reviewing some of these for our Blog :)

This is Part 4 of My Bird Collection:
IMG_0389.jpg
Suliformes (gannets, cormorants, and allies):

Anhingidae (darters):
African Darter (Anhinga rufa) Nayab (Species is speculative. Could be some other Anhinga sp. but coloration (reddish-brown upperparts, light underparts, juvenile A. melanogaster "Oriental" has dark underparts) most matches a juvenile A. rufa.)

Procellariiformes (tubenoses):
Procellariidae (typical petrels, diving-petrels, fulmars, and shearwaters):
Snow Petrel (Pagodroma nivea) Unknown

Sphenisciformes (penguins):
Spheniscidae:
Yellow-eyed Penguin (Megadyptes antipodes) Yowie Series 2
Little Penguin (Eudyptula minor) Yowie Series 1
Emperor/King Penguin (Aptenodyptes sp.) Unknown (The figure is too inaccurate and vague for a specific ID. The species has appeared in some generic Chinese sea animal sets.)

Unfortunately, the latest image doesn't appear for me :(
Always looking for new species...

Birdsage

Not sure why it isn't working. It isn't working for me either.

You're a master in showing us obscure figures. I was unaware of all of the last ones. And I knew a Yowies yellow-eyed penguin but is not that one. This model looks a bit better than the other, tough the shape of the head is not accurate.

I think you may want to substitute that cartoony Little Blue by the Kaiyodo Penguins Lunch one...

The Yowies yellow-eyed you are thinking of is by Yowie Group (USA); this one here is by Cadbury (Australia)
