Arctinus

I always thought there was something a bit off about the Safari one but could never quite put my finger on it. I'm glad I haven't got it yet, so that it can now be replaced by the Collecta one on my list.

I wish Collecta would make an Alpine ibex that could replace the Schleich one that I have.

A new round of Collecta animals.  ;D

Lobster
Texas Longhorn Bull
Mongolian Stallion
Paso Fino Mare
Half Arabian Stallion Dunskin
Exotic Shorthair

Link here.

I am really fond of the lobster.  ;D Will probably also get the cat because I love cats and because why not.  :P Not interested in other domestic animal figures (which is good in my case, money- and space-wise).

I just uploaded with pics. The Texas Longhorn and lobster are on my wishlist, they join the basking shark!

Arctinus

Thanks!  ^-^

I thought those two might end up on your wishlist (judging by your love for the crustaceans and domestic cattle, if I recall correctly).  ;D

You remember correctly :)

That lobster looks spectacular, but very disappointing how there wasn't any additional wildlife in this reveal. And so many bloody horses. :P

@bmathison1972, I see we have similar tastes. Those are the three that caught my eye too.  :))

Yup @Gwangi - I have been tempted to buy the Safari Texas lonhorned cattle; I am glad I held back! Speaking of Safari, the basking shark will replace the Safari one. And the lobster, well, it's an arthropod so that goes without saying LOL

Being the cat person, the exotic shorthair is growing on me...

I saw the appeal in the cat as well. I'm also a cat person, but I don't collect figures of the domestic breeds. I do have the Safari cat toob though, which I might review someday.

It must be the American lobster, Homarus americanus.

CollectA has a prime repainting opportunity here, what with the existence of blue and yellow lobsters.

Advicot

Great! Thanks Blaine, new species for me

And even better, bicolour lobsters.

Added three new dinos (2 prehistorics; one mini box). Still waiting for the extant models.

Prehistoric life would be a better term than dinos

OK, batch 3 is up.  Love the Xiphactinus. Darwin's frog is nice, but there are great, smaller examples of this species already.

So far, this is predicted CollectA purchases:

Definite yes:
1. basking shark
2. American lobster
3. Texas longhorn cattle
4. Xiphactinus

Quite probably:
1. Mongolian horse

Definite maybe:
1. Exotic shorthair cat

Arctinus

Awww, Darwin's frog looks so cute. Will definitely get it. Might also get the elasmosaurus and xiphactinus.
