As many will know, the walkarounds on the forum are being phased out and added to the blog as reviews. Some, however, lack photos and will likely just be deleted. To help out our admins who are undertaking the task, I am setting this up. If you spot any walkarounds without photos in them, could you post here. I will list all of them to help expedite the process. Thank you!

Didn`t know Schleich ever released a gharial.... and which Komodo Dragon would it be? For the most recent I could prepare photos.

Don't prepare photos for the walkarounds - we are trying to phase them out. This is a list so we know which ones to delete.

If you prepare photos, send them to the Blog email  ;D ;D ;D

Lanthanotus

Ah, sure, sorry for the confusion I made.

Tough marketed just as "gharial" it's clearly a false gharial. Not the finest sculpt possible (it's an old figure), but clearly recognizable as such species.

It might also be worth tagging the authors of the imageless posts, as a courtesy. If they knew, then might log in and update the image links.

Not a problem. Will do it going forward.

Gotta say, Jetoar's Schleich Indian Rhino write up is pretty good. Worth keeping,

@Jetoar seems to use imageshack as his image host. Is there a reason why his images are not appearing, did imageshack shut down or something?

Also, good call @sirenia to flag substantial reviews. We can migrate full reviews over to the blog without necessarily having to write copy ourselves. Mostly, however, I think most contributions to the Reviews and Walk-arounds sections are just walk-arounds with a brief sentence or two.

The really odd thing is that some of his do still have images, while others don't. Not sure if he changed to a new image host at some point, but half his walkarounds have images, half don't. It's odd. Will continue to flag any that have a good review part to them.

The Red Eared Slider by Stargatedalek has a great write up for it.

Was that the Yujin one? I think I have that one handy so I'll try to find it and get some new photos.

@stargatedalek if you do take (or have the original) pics, email them to the Blog email. I'll transfer your text over from the walkaround so you don't have to re-write it :)

I'll probably give it a quick touch up anyway. Assuming they don't take long to complete, should I send revamped walkarounds as if they were new reviews or send them all in together and they can be added more at leisure?

bmathison1972

you can send them in a group or one at a time, whichever is easier for you. If you send multiples at once, they may get posted over time, mixed among other reviews. Logistically, it would be easier for us editors if each review was in its own email, but you can send multiple reviews at once.
If you are happy with the writing as on the walkaround, just send the images with a link to the text for us to copy over :)

stargatedalek

Going through my walkarounds and I'm currently fixing up the Unknown Pompano, Lunkerhunt "goldfish" (will revisit ID), LIVETARGET Threadfin Shad, and Yujin Red eared slider.

Any others are ones I would prefer to rewrite (or see rewritten) entirely, which leaves those figures up in the air for anyone to review.

I am finding that some photos, like a lot of the Nayab photos, have a massive "Photobucket" banner over it. Not sure what you plan with those, but thought I'd point it out.

Photobucket? What's Photobucket?

Just kidding, those photos are as good as gone. Somehow they escaped the 'purge': http://animaltoyforum.com/index.php?topic=2085.0
