An Asian cetoniine, Pseudotorynorrhina japonica. I have always wondered why, given the attention Asian dynastines and lucanids have received, their beautiful spectrum of cetoniines have not received much attention. Also, this is the last species of scarabaeoid beetle to post here (well, until new species are made and/or acquired...).

Two figures, both by Kaiyodo (Insects Gather to Sap - Night Feast of Midsummer) [marketed as Rhomborrina japonica.]

The ghost moth, Hepialus humuli.

One figure, a larva, by an unknown manufacturer. This is a very tentative ID of mine, especially since nearly all the figures in the set were modeled after butterflies a moth ID may not be correct. Still, I can find no better match.

I don't know the manufacturer either, but it looks like the same as a few I have. They all have a random letter on the bottom like yours. Mine came from a bin they have at Rainforest Cafe, along with some Playvisions (or PV knockoffs?)

Ha! I also bought mine out of a bin at a Rainforest cafe. And there were PV knockoffs too (spiders and crabs, from what I collect). To my knowledge though, PV never did a caterpillar set. Club Earth might have...if these are knockoffs too, not sure who made the originals...
