Hi

The charity I work for are looking to be able to purchase a number of plastic toy flea models at a reasonable cost. Does anyone know where these can be purchased from or where to find these?

Thanks in advance....

Hi there, as a parasitologist and collector of toy insects I can tell you most flea figures are hard to come by. You can see my fleas in the first image here: http://animaltoyforum.com/index.php?topic=1414.0.
Most of those are not readily available but you might find the large Smithsonian flea rarely on eBay. The human flea might be on eBay but not sure that will help if your education is directed towards cats. The small Ctenocephalides is part of the 'Bug Blast!' by Groovy Tube Books, but not sure you want to buy the whole set for the flea model alone. The life cycle (http://animaltoyforum.com/index.php?topic=1414.msg12277#msg12277) is very rare and expensive; I bought mine through the Japanese auctions.
