I notice Schleich is big into playests these days--to me, the biggest issue is that the price increases for those a lot--which means their main target--kids--have to make do with fewer animal toys. This is unforunate.

Also, what, exactly, are these plants doing on the reef bottom?

If it really were a gully shark I would actually be happy. The 'tiger', not so much. I believe the word is 'boring'.

Of course, they also calle dthe shark ray a guitarfish, which would actually be an exciting figure.

Pelican is beautiful, it and the Dunkleosteus are my only must have's from Schleich this year. That being said, a few of the play sets are tempting (even if they blatantly stole that river idea from Playmobil).

I just realized that the eel has the potential to be decent--but again, why in a set? It will just cost more than it should, for what amounts to a bunch of parts I don't want.

And, again, they appear to have sculpted in the pattern instead of painting it--making the eel look like it is dessicated or soemthing!

Also, the 'rattlesnake' is clearly not a rattlesnake. Given the black mouth, it is a mamba--it's even rear-fanged! Which gives it more potential, as long as the tail isn't a rattle.

Guitarfish, okay. I obviously don't know my sharks and rays well enough! I still think it looks like it is raising its eyes.

THe German name from the original source is Pfeilgiftfrosch grün. So not only did they, indeed, make a posion dart frog then paint it using another frog's colors, they didn't even paint it green like the name says.

Hello.
I love the models for this year.
I'm mostly a prehistoric figure collector, but I'd like to adquire most of the natural scenery items for 2015 and 2016. Sadly, there isn't any scheich stores in my city.
May someone suggest me an online store to buy modern Papo/Schleich/Safari items with reasonable international shipping costs?
