Bandai did an Amazon set that had one. And I think CollectA did one of the Asian river dolphins.

I don't think Safari is releasing one this year; I think they are all marine species if I remember correctly.

You're right, it's an especially pink Indo-Pacific humpback dolphin, not a river dolphin. My bad.

I delphinidly want this figure. While the more mass market figures are very good, this one looks fantastic.

FINALLY, after many random eBay searches, I found the old Safari WS Atlantic spotted dolphin! People have commented that the proportions are not correct for this species. Also, while it is stamped '1996' online references indicate it came out in 1998. I wonder if the sculpt was used for a bottlenose dolphin in 1996 and then repainted as a spotted for 1998? I have inquired with Shane to see if he knows the history, but it's well before his time.

I almost got one of these spotted dolphins, but I concur, the portions aren't there. Would rather find a better sculpt of different species and just paint it.

You finally got one! Congrats! It's better than no spotted dolphin but as soon as a new one is released (which may be never) mine is getting replaced.
