the red ones in the back/right are probably red sea fans in the genus Gorgonia.

EDIT: The nomenclature has changed. it's in the family Gorgoniidae, maybe the red sea fan, Eugorgia daniana

Thanks Blaine! I appreciate your feedback.

I have the Safari venomous creatures toob fat-tailed scorpion and I'm wondering what species it could be?  The one I have is the later release, the grey one.  I've seen grey fattail scorpions on Google Images, but I haven't been able to work out what species the grey Safari toob version is.

I have the original and I am calling it Androctonus crassicauda. My justification is here: https://animaltoyforum.com/index.php?topic=2715.msg30216#msg30216

The newer paint job may not look like anything realistic.

I've added the identification of the toob scorpion to Toy Animal Wiki, with credit!  It's great to know what it is!

For TAI I would not put a species name on this scorpion, only genus at that. One must remember, there are probably people who use TAI who are not privy to internal discussions on STS or ATF. If an ID is not obvious, it just be left at a generic level.

EDIT: I see you have a link to my post. That should be fine. At least that way if someone was to question that ID they know the source of it. It's probably fine to leave as-is.

Hey all! I have this old Schleich tortoise in my collection, which I think was only ever sold with just the name ''tortoise'' so I'm wondering if it represents any species in particular? I've been using it as a Hermann's tortoise for a long time, although I have to admit that it doesn't look like one all that much. I might want to move it to another shelf in my collection if it turns out to be something else. Anyone with more tortoise knowledge who can help me out?

Saarlooswolfhound

Any idea what this is? Brand or species? Its roughly 4 inches long (that's a guess- I should measure it I suppose), solid hard plastic, found in a thrift store. It reminds me of the older brands productions like Marx figures? For all I know its a StarWars type animal.

No markings whatsoever.

@Saarlooswolfhound I can't overstate how useful Google Lens has been to me. Apparently this is a G.I. Joe Croc Master crocodile.
I like turtles.

I've never even heard of that- Will have to check that feature out. In the meantime, thank you! An odd looking croc but he is appealing to me for whatever reason.

Today I received the Beautiful Coral set by AMUSE/AMUFUN. I am posting here to get potential identification help. They are roughly 5 cm tall and made of a hard resin (?). They are somewhat translucent and sold by color rather than the animal's name, and the color might not always match the morphology. But, I am posting on ATF and STS to see if anyone can assist in viable options. Thanks in advance!

1. White.
A hard coral of some kind.

2. Purple.
For this one I am confident with the stove-pipe sponge (Aplysina archeri) as they can come in purple

3. Pink.
EDIT: I am thinking now this may be a member of the genus Stylophora.

4. Green.
This looks more like a kelp or seaweed to me?

5. Yellow.
These look like tunicates!

While I wait for responses, I will try to dive more into them myself!

OK, here are my tentative IDs for the coral collection:

1. white: Acropora digitifera
2. purple: Aplysina archeri
3. pink: Stylophora cf. pistillata
4. green: Ulva fasciata
5. yellow: Tubastrea coccinea (syn. T. aurea)

Thoughts?
