I know some people have hope. Never understand why  ;D

Can anyone tell the difference between the three species of Right Whale? From what I've gathered, they're more or less indistinguishable. Not enough for me to get a new species of Right Whale when I already have one.

They are morphologically indistguishable, although anecdotally the amount of white might help at times. I already have the Safari right whale as a northern, so I won't be getting this Schleich version despite it being specifically advertised as a northern.

@callmejoe3 might have more to contribute.

I wonder if the silkie chicken will be new or a re-release of the one from the bagged chicken set a few years ago.

Its hard to tell from the angle of the photo I saw, and they are both very pale in color, but it looks like a different sculpt based on the feather texture.

Been busy, haven't caught this. The most reliable external morphological difference between Eubalaenais that the adult size of the North Pacific species is ~2 meters longer on average than the other species.

I have the Safari right whale and although I prefer getting one of each species I guess I can make an exception here, since there are two species of right whale. A good excuse to get another figure of my favorite baleen whale.

Interesting. Given the negligible size difference I don't see a reason to get another one when I already have SafariLtd's.

Wish someone made a good sized Fin Whale.
