I added several pics from the catalogue; will try to get the others tonight or this weekend.

The bear is a repaint of their recent brown bear model and the lobster looks European and the starfish looks common after all!

Repainting a brown bear into a black bear is kind of a slap in the face to any ursid enthusiast.

Yes, in the Azores and a rare stray to the UK, but not regularly breeding on mainland Europe

Wrong, they're breeding in mainland Europe since several years ago (both in southern and northwestern Spain/Portugal). And even if they do only in islands they would count as European too (as they're not introduced), and in Canary Islands is one of the most common diurnal butterflies as I checked the two times that I've been here. In Andalusia I only saw it once (I don't remember the year, but I think it was 2008).

Fantastic to see the figures at final size images! Yes the lobster is 100% the European species and Papo did it as perfectly as CollectA did the American one. So this year is the lobster year for European brands!! Yay! For me, taking them or not will depend just on the size and I doubt they will be enough small for my collection - even for the heaviest of all the living arthropods -. The Epoch one you linked looks nice, but it looks like much more American than European. Papo's blueleg is absolutely European.

And oh - what a shame about the bear. Now seeing the image at normal size, yes, something is wrong with the shape of muzzle-ears and this is because it have the shape of a brown bear. Will pass on this then.

As for the older reveals, I can't really say I'm interested in that much. I may grab the Emu Chick, but those thick legs are bringing back all the negative feelings I had when I first got their Marabou Stork.

But ooo, I really like the looks of that lobster. I know the paint jobs are never as good I hand, but I really hope that rich coloration sticks around.

I have inhand images of the starfish IMG_20210307_184138.jpg  IMG_20210307_184151.jpg  IMG_20210307_184151.jpg  IMG_20210307_184123.jpg

I am planning on getting the starfish; it will scale better with my other starfish than the Safari WS figure. The grey heron is also available now.

I'm quite liking these new figures. I'm definitely getting the butterfly and the caterpillar, the ant, the robin, the Canada goose, the heron, the starfish and the lobster (if it's the European species, which it most likely is) because I'm still missing all these species. I already have the Mojo emu, so I might get the chick. As for the bear, I'll have to compare it to the Collecta one and then decide which one to get.

Our tastes match again :-D

What a coincidence.  :D

Too bad the black bear is a repaint.  :( But there's still the Collecta one, which is the one I'll be getting.
And I really like that starfish! Thanks for the photos, @JimoAi^-^

I love Papo's whale models. I hope we can get a few in 2022, maybe a Bowhead whale or a Right Whale.
