Hello friends, this is the figure of Male Turkey (Meleagris gallopavo) Linnaeus, 1758 of Safari Ltd - Farm. Total lenght is 100mm. This figure was relased in 2008 and it is available currently. Adult wild turkeys have long reddish-yellow to grayish-green legs. The body feathers are generally blackish and dark brown overall with a coppery sheen that becomes more complex in adult males. Adult males, called toms or gobblers, have a large, featherless, reddish head, red throat, and red wattles on the throat and neck. The head has fleshy growths called caruncles.

Farm of Safari Ltd have beutiful and amazing figures, but I think that this figure is one of the best figures of this collection. From my point of view, this figure is a accurate replica of this bird, because the details as great feathers and skin of its neck. Stand, proportions are perfects. Colours are very nice. My parents bought this figure for me in a store of Madrid (Spain) one week ago ^-^.

I recently bought this one, too. It's an impressive (and quite big) figure with a brilliant sculpt and the dark plumage has a wonderful metallic shine. 8)

Thanks friend, the metallic shine is one of the best points of this figure.

Oh, I have this turkey. It was one of my first ever Safari, and it looks really good! Did you know: A male turkey's head changes colour depending what mood it's in.  :)
Don't I take long uploading photos!
