Hello friends, this is the figure of Sitting Merkat (Suricata suricatta) Schreber, 1776 of Schleich - Wild Life. Total lenght 50 mm. This figure is of 2009 line of figures and currently is retired. Meerkats are small burrowing animals, living in large underground networks with multiple entrances which they leave only during the day. They are very social, living in colonies averaging 20–30 members. Meerkats are primarily insectivores, but also eat other animals (lizards, snakes, scorpions, spiders, plants, eggs, small mammals, millipedes, centipedes and, more rarely, small birds) and fungi.

Schleich are one of the oldest brands that they do figures currently. They have done new figures of some old replicas even their cubs, calfs and juveniles. This replica is one of their old figures. This figure is a very nice replica. The proportions of this figure are nice from my point of view. I think that. Details of hair are really good. The stand of this figure is nice. I think that it is a good replica but it needs more colours. I bought this figure in a store of Cádiz (Spain) one week ago ^-^.
