Hello friends, this is the figure of ( Galeocerdo cuvier ) Péron & Lesueur, 1822 of Schleich - Sea Life . Total lenght is 175 mm. This figure was relased in 2004 and it was retired. Tiger sharks are often found close to the coast, mainly in tropical and subtropical waters throughout the world. They are an apex predator and has a reputation for eating anything. Young tiger sharks are found to prey largely on small fish as well as various small jellyfish, cephalopods and other mollusks or near sexual maturity, their prey selection expands considerably and much larger animals become regular prey.

Schleich released in 2004 another line of sea animals out scale, but they have a great collection of sea animals that currently, they are retired. This figure was one of the fisrt of this line and hammerhead shark was one of the last. I think that this figure is a nice replica of this animal. Sculpture, stand and details are would be better but the color is not the correct. I think that currently it is a beautiful and great figure but if it have another color and body longer, it would be better it. I bought this figure a store in Jerez( Spain ) two weeks ago.
