Atlantic Puffin -2014 (Schleich-Sea Life)

Hello friends, this is the figure of Atlantic Puffin (Fratercula arctica) Linnaeus, 1758 of Schleich-Sea Life. Total lenght 50 mm and its wingspan is 65 mm. This figure is of 2014 new line of figures and currently is avaliable. It is the only puffin native to the Atlantic Ocean with two related species inthe Pacific Ocean. The Atlantic Puffin spends the autumn and winter in the open ocean of the cold northern seas and returns to coastal areas at the start of the breeding season in late spring













Schleich are releasing diferents species of birds in these last years and 2014 is not a exception.  I think that this figure is a great replica of this animal. Colors are very nice and the sculpture, stand and details are very nice also. I think that currently it is a beautiful and great figure for collectors of birds in general but, I think that Papo version of this bird is better (http://animaltoyforum.com/index.php/topic,824.new.html#new). I bought this figure yesterday in a store of Cádiz (Spain) .

The quality of the other brands is better, but the sculpt with the open wings is original  .
