Hello friends, this is the figure of Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus)Tunstall, 1771 of Schleich- Wild Life. Total lenght is 50mm and its wingspan is 90 mm. This figure was relased in 2010 and it is avaliable. The Peregrine Falcon lives mostly along mountain ranges, river valleys, coastlines, and increasingly in cities. In mild-winter regions, it is usually a permanent resident, and some individuals, especially adult males, will remain on the breeding territory. Only populations that breed in Arctic climates typically migrate great distances during the northern winter. The Peregrine Falcon feeds almost exclusively on medium-sized birds such as pigeons and doves, waterfowl, songbirds, and waders.

Currently, Schleich are doing good and details figures like as Papo or Safari and same time, better than these brands. These figures are a good example ^-^. Proportions are good and details of hair are very nice. Paint will be darker. Another good point of this figure is the size, because we are not too big and this is ideal  for dioramas an you could mix with other figures of differents brands  ^-^. I bougth this figure from my girlfriend two years ago in a store in Madrid (Spain) ^-^^-^.

Definitely a nicer and more intricate paint job than the CollectA version has. :)
