Hello friends, this is the figure of Scalloped hammerhead Shark (Sphyrna lewini) E. Griffith & C. H. Smith, 1834 of Papo - Sea Life. Total lenght is 170mm. This figure was relased in 2011 and it is avaliable. This shark is often seen during the day in big schools, sometimes numbering hundreds. This is most likely because it is easier for the scalloped hammerhead shark to obtain food in a group than alone.
They are a coastal pelagic species, it occurs over continental and insular shelves and in nearby deeper water. It is found in warm temperate and tropical waters, worldwide from 46° north to 36° south. It can be found down to depths of over 500 metres (1,600 ft) but is most often found above 25 metres.

Papo is a young brand in the world of figures if we compare them wit Safari or Schleich, but they have a important place in the world currently. They are famous for their figures of feline and dinosaurs but they are doing great jobs with the reptiles and birds (new garhial is amazing) and their sea animals figures are not a exception. This figure have a great details in his head and guills. Teeths are corrects are the union of the mouth is not bad. The color of this figure is fantastic with a silver grey ^-^. Proportions are awesome. I think that. Definetly it is one of the best figure of Scalloped Hammerhead Shark. It is one of my favorite figures of my collection and I  I bought this figure in a store of my girlfriends town yesterday ^-^.
