Great white shark (Collecta - Sea Life)

Hello friends, this is the figure of Great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) Linnaeus, 1758 of Collecta - Sea Life. Total lenght is 175 mm. This figure was relased in 2006 and it is avaliable. Great white sharks is are apex predator of the seas and has no natural predators. Only the orcas and humans are a danger for this specie The great white shark is arguably the world's largest known extant macropredatory fish, and is one of the primary predators of marine mammals.

















Collecta is a young brand of figures, but in his short time of existence, they have done a lot of figures of different species of animals (included rare species of dinosaurs and animals). In their cattegory of sea life, they have included the Great white shark . This figure is a nice representation of this shark. The colors are exact and the details are nice.  I think that it is a good figure of this animal and good acquistion for sharks collectors. However I think that this figure is very similar to Great white shark - 2004 (Schleich - Sea Life) (http://animaltoyforum.com/index.php/topic,333.0.html). This is a early gift of my girlfriend for Christmas with a Blue Whale, Orca, Bottlenose Dolphin and Manta Ray  .
