Superb acquisition, Postsaurischian! It's great to see a more active pose from a species which has mostly been represented by more static figures from the Major brands (Schleich and Safari come to mind).

One thing strikes me, though: why is it so shiny? Are many of Papo's models shiny?

The Papo models that are made of the harder plastic material (like this one) tend to shine more in the sunlight. They seem to use other colours for these.
If I had used artificial light the effect would not be so obvious (but I don't like artificial light for my pics).

Ahh I see. Thanks for explaining. And I agree about natural light: no artificial lighting can compliment a figure better than our good ol' sun.

That's a very nice new anteater, Helge! :) It has something about it that makes it look a bit like a juvenile. :) I have some shiny Papo figures, too, most are only slightly shiny but the (now retired) Zebu is a nightmare to photograph.

Now, this Anteater is one of the Papo models that disappointed me when it comes to its scale. Too bad, since it has all the features that I hold Papo esteemed for their products; details, realism, paint job, etc. Why does this have to be so small? I smell Schleich conspiracy!! >:D
