Hello friends, this is the figure of Zebra calf (Equus grevyi) Linnaeus, 1758 of AAA. Total lenght is 100mm.

AAA is famous for do a lot of figures of animal and they were one of the first brands to do replies of animals and they have done the figures of my childhood. AAA did diferents model of the same specie and this it is a good example. The sculpt, colors, proportions and stand are very nice. This figure is nice, but other version are more accurate, but in its time, they are one of the best figures of this specie. This figure is one of the firsts figure of AAA of my collection and my father bought it to me 16 years ago in a store of my town  .

It's nice figure, I remember my friend had it when we were kids and I wanted this animal too but couldn't find it in the shop anymore. I think it is foal of Gravy's zebra (shape of ears and numbers of stripes suggests it) Equus grevyi . It's lovely figure, congratulations! :D

Yes, it looks a lot like E. grevyi for its very narrow stripes on the thighs (although they should be more numerous). :)
