Quote from: Shane on May 16, 2025, 04:01:50 PMFor the collector with DEEP POCKETS, this Safari 1995 "Rattler" with real working rattle can be yours for a mere $289.99:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/356819977025

I would wager that that's more expensive than an actual alive rattlesnake. Safer though, I suppose.

It rattles my mind!

With only a 97% positive feedback, lol.
I like turtles.

An expensive lot, but I was just curious if anyone recognized the little blue pufferfish, the green sea horse or the little rays:

They look familiar but not sure.
A lot of that lot is made up of Prior/Azur recasts, with other figures that were co&packaged into the 90s (the green puffer, butterflyfish, and the acanthodian). Those streamlined mullet -looking ones are new to me but no idea.

The most valuable one is the Play Visions spiny eel. I paid about that for one when I replaced my damaged one (cat got at it at some point)

Safari Ltd Tennessee Aquarium Fire Salamander: https://www.ebay.com/itm/277126079280

Looks to be in decent shape, tough to glean any info from the obviously AI description, and you have to get a less desirable Komodo Dragon as well, but the price isn't bad.

NSD Bashe

this lot includes the very rare Discovery Channel flashlight fish, albeit the paint's a tad bit worn

Well shoot, if anyone else was looking for a Safari Smilodon Cub, another ebay listing has popped up:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/277126741079

Has some active bids, but so far the price is nice.

I'm sure its this way for every collector but it seems like when I want to buy such a retired item I have to wait an eternity for one to pop up, and often times its not for an ideal price (I don't pay exorbitant amounts for items but sometimes you just have to pounce). Then the following year or so there seems to be dozens that pop up!  ::D

BlueKrono

I'm glad I got mine a few years ago so I'm not on the hunt anymore.
I like turtles.

Safari Ltd Monterey Bay Pacific White-Sided Dolphin:

Looks to be in amazing condition. If I didn't have one, I'd jump all over this. I'm even kind of tempted now, it looks absolutely pristine.

BlueKrono

I hope someday someone makes a dusky dolphin. That's my most wanted cetacean that nobody's made yet (as far as I'm aware).
I like turtles.

Bet it sells fast. You can't imagine all the PMs I've received over the years with people asking me to sell mine!

Not sure why they gave it a Godzilla reference; it isn't part of any Godzilla theme or set.
