Safari ltd hatchetfish for a not bad starting price (though it's a bid so it could go up)

Thanks for sharing. You know, everything in those URLs after the "?" is just tracking data (personal to how you landed on the link). If you want to simplify any links you post you can delete all that stuff and just keep the product number, it will still work perfectly. For example, deleting through all I've struck through here:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/355862941655?_skw=toy+viperfish&itmmeta=01J85QNDW0REJR2Y2R5RMN3FK0&hash=item52db158fd7:g:ACIAAOSwYVtmkIsB&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKnrXLhqWPLA5cobMSKxWx3hgCrAOMl0GvP0SY4n5%2BI11VE6fVHEGHtpn%2Bfy%2BN4lY%2BEAx%2BZW1TErQnnbsSAH%2Bp2PetykCKOEJmWLY8kaa3ERYXGhnkwwL3Ku3Wn2ojFanbni3vUYLTQNpYqN%2BCSWRE0QnnhP4Z2gKbZQ60D3u7jOEKB6yoAYtQ3xsdu6xmTCIluBVHY9kphJ9qP2dKIVM0U0hSLAnMJADCLYXLVt%2BWo03rkHBsUsscupntvVhZi1TrI%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR47e1bfBZA&edge=1

makes the link becomes this:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/355862941655

It doesn't really matter, but you might prefer to simplify. ^-^

Holy hell!!!! Thank you so much for that @K907 - I bought it and yes it's going on the Blog!

Accoutrements is a company that seems to have a lot of strange models that are kind of under the radar...

NSD Bashe

That's pretty cool I wonder what sort of brand name you'll find written on the model itself...

Indeed they do have a lot of models especially back in the 90's/2000's. I remember I came across their store catalog, Archie McPhee, back in 2000 and got a mystery box with various animal figures. I had like two salamanders and such (gave them away unfortunately).

I had a Gila monster very similar to that as a kid. Looks like same body, but had a closed mouth, not those ridiculous chompers. I wonder if one was a copy of the other...
I like turtles.

I did have that Gila monster that's in that set. I also do recall seeing a closed mouth version before. Lol I kinda like the one with teeth mostly because of I love the vintage type of look.

Here's a lot with another of those unmarked cuttlefish:

The cuttlefish is based on the AAA and the octopus on one from an Animal Planet set (not Chap Mei though).

Quote from: bmathison1972 on October 06, 2024, 11:25:15 PMNever seen this from Safari before:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/405059287025

I have a vague recollection of that, now that I see it. Clearly Safari has always done unique things that stretched beyond figures. I still would have liked to see zoo/park sets to work with at least the toob sets, if not the larger ones.

That barn is neat! I had a model farm set when I was a kid. It was one of my favorite toys. It was by Ertle. I had a barn, house, silos, machine shed, garage, and a variety of animals and farm equipment. Used AstroTurf to set it up on, replaced it with white felt in the winter for snow. I still have it boxed up on my garage. I would set it up again if I had the space for it.

I don't think I've ever seen this white version of the Safari jellyfish:
