Quote from: EpicRaptorMan on July 11, 2024, 07:21:49 PMBut the crocodile shark is cool. Only ever seen two for sale. One of which I hesitated on and @bmathison1972 snatched it and the second I found on Mercari for $7...an amazing find (bought that one obv)

I remember seeing that "sold" listing on mercari, was jealous someone found one for that cheap haha  :)) ! Took me a year and a half of checking ebay and mercari everyday, but finally got one off ebay in January in a small lot with some other Safari sharks for $40. It's no $7, but feeling a lot better about what I paid especially now seeing how expensive this current lot for sale is!!

Makes me glad I was able to get one of the last in stock crocodile sharks from Safari. Much easier!

I'm still looking for the crocodile shark myself but I have everything else in the lot so I can't go to that expense for it. Just gotta keep waiting...

Yeah and here it is. I remember the day I saw it and it had been listed moments before. Heart skipped a beat when I tried to order it and the ordering initially failed xD

I believe @EpicRaptorMan was looking for a Safari Gila Monster - There's one in this lot:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/405098867170

The auction isn't expensive, but the shipping is kinda pricey.

Just thought I'd share.

EpicRaptorMan

@Shane got it. Preesh.
Yeah the shipping is a bit much and was a turn off but realistically I only paid 23.99 which isn't much more than what I paid for it initially on Amazon.

(I bought the LAST one, but my order was misplaced in the mail & never got it).

I will likely sell the rest of these on the side to recoup some cost if anyone is interested.

So this listing for key chain jellyfish seems to be essentially one of those blind pack deals where you get a figure at random, but...  one of these 8 jellyfish appears to be a rarely depicted comb jelly.  In fact it reminds me a bit of an obscure Qualia figure that never seems to be available here, I don't know if it's based off that one or just coincidental.  But since it's such a rarely made species I thought I'd mention it:

That is a lovely set, if only it was sold as complete sets I might have grabbed some for dioramas.

I think I've seen related figures, I know SeaWorld has their own figures (I have an eagle ray and leopard shark) so it's not surprising. I might have just not noticed them

bmathison1972

Not me. if I was still an arthropod specialist, I'd consider getting one. if anyone is getting them, i might consider buying one off of you for a comparable price.
