the more interesting thing is that (presumably unbranded) harlequin bug! I have never seen a figure of that species before.

I agree it looks unbranded, but could it be K&M? It kind of reminds me of the K&M hissing cockroach stylistically.

@bmathison1972 if you're going to get the lot for the bug, there's two lizards I'd be interested in taking off your hands...the Canada shipping is terrible so between that and the exchange I can't justify it!

@sbell - sorry but I won't be pursuing it. If I was, I would gladly send you whatever I didn't want.

No worries. Wasn't sure if the unfamiliar bug was going to get your attention!

It would have several years ago, but when I expanded my collection beyond arthropods, I tightened the criteria on collecting arthropods.

Makes sense. Like how I've tightened mine up a lot overall.

the capybara is tempting (it's my favorite) but don't want all that bycatch for a species I don't really need (I am content with CollectA's capybara). BUT, I know the pronghorn is wanted by several!

I don't find anything attractive about that pronghorn.  Something feels very off about it.
If collectors are looking for one I think the old Mojo one would be the best after a set of paint.

Gwangi

I want a pronghorn but I'm willing to wait until a new one is produced, it's only a matter of time and I'm a patient collector.

Some good Safari:

Opossum with babies (sold in the USA):

Sockeye salmon $$$ (from Spain):

I am tempted to get the Salmon, but $60 is a bit steep for now

EDIT:
THe Spanish dealer also has two of the Tennessee Aquarium salamanders:

That's a pretty solid seller. But at those prices I'm glad I have the ones of those I want already!

I've been buying from Snertus for years... I always wonder where he gets his treasures from! I recently learned he prefers to conduct business outside of eBay to save on fees. (Anyone) feel free to message me if you want his contact. He speaks English and Spanish. I consider him very trustworthy.
I like turtles.

@BlueKrono send me his contact. I was looking at one of his items.

@bmathison1972 there's another listing that has the sockeye salmon but in a group for cheaper

Thanks @EpicRaptorMan - I saw your PM and I already bought it!

Not eBay but Mercari, so be wary but this giant footballfish is apparently available there, and with a tag this time:  apparently it's from a series called "Do Not Eat"

https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m36507618351/?ref=search_results

(feel free to move this post if there's a better category for it)

Alopias superciliosus

K&M Cat Shark- or "Whitespotted Bamboo Shark" as the wiki has dubbed it

https://www.ebay.com/itm/395517160200?chn=ps&mkevt=1&mkcid=28&srsltid=AfmBOoqDZfqwt9HdZ2A4Kqy_ZzNsjSNBMeye73IxtNNY_9hSmqYKi8P1Jg0

The K&M rubber "cat sharks" are super rare to find- this is the one in the series I already own

Shane

Somewhat expensive set of Safari retired sea life, but you can always make an offer.

Lot of stuff in this auction that would entice me if I hadn't spent quite a long time individually tracking them down:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/387187315588

- Sailfish, Eagle Ray, Crocodile Shark, Spotted Dolphin, Mako Shark (ver. 1), Leatherback Turtle (ver. 1), and various other Monterey Bay and Wild Safari Sea Life figures

EpicRaptorMan

The spotted dolphin is of interest to me but i think I would prefer a better sculpt of one.

But the crocodile shark is cool. Only ever seen two for sale. One of which I hesitated on and @bmathison1972 snatched it and the second I found on Mercari for $7...an amazing find (bought that one obv)

Spotted Dolphin is more of a fun novelty than a "good" figure. Definitely showing its age, but I find it appealing in a nostalgia sort of way.

I think it was a tip from here that got me my Crocodile Shark. But as you said, they don't show up that often so I thought someone might be interested in this listing, even with the potentially prohibitive price.

I remember seeing that "sold" listing on mercari, was jealous someone found one for that cheap haha  :)) ! Took me a year and a half of checking ebay and mercari everyday, but finally got one off ebay in January in a small lot with some other Safari sharks for $40. It's no $7, but feeling a lot better about what I paid especially now seeing how expensive this current lot for sale is!!

bmathison1972

I actually want the Safari spotted dolphin; just not going to invest in a lot, even a small lot, to get it.

Shane

Speaking of lots  ;)  I found another Safari sea creature lot with a Monterey Bay Pacific White-Sided Dolphin.

This one is a lot cheaper but has fewer desirables beyond the dolphin: https://www.ebay.com/itm/355801467644

As far as what else it's got: a Wild Safari Beluga, Monterey Beluga Calf, Authentics Squid, older style paint versions of Manatee and Sperm Whale, as well as some assorted seemingly random TOOB figures.
