A good deal on this lot of MBA toys. They're all in rough shape though. I almost bought it but the only one I really want is the thresher shark so I'm gonna pass.

Here's an interesting lot for those on the hunt for the elusive retired calves from the MBA collection. It's a gray whale calf (Variant A, as discussed in my review) with two of the older GWS. Goes away in 2 days.

Here's another chance for those out there trying to claim to claim the MBA beluga calf.

I've been perusing the secondhand market for a while and noticed there's been a dry spell of listings for the MBA sperm whale. So those who are interested may want to act on this one fast.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/275046422892?hash=item400a0b596c:g:3msAAOSwXbdhpYCS

For $50, it may be a bit much for those who don't need the in-production gray whale and beluga, but the sperm whale is definitely more rare than it was about  year ago.

Furthermore, some listings for calves.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/194517526736?hash=item2d4a25e8d0:g:qXQAAOSwTmBhmlDe

For $35, not bad for two discontinued calves, the humpback and gray whale calf. The gray whale is the ''Type C'' I have listed out on the ATB review, so it wold match the in-production adult.

Otherwise, there's a good deal for another gray whale calf, ''Type B''.

There's actually a bunch of different listings and lots available for the Humpback calf, so this may be the better option for those who currently want to prioritize the harder-to-find calf first.

EDIT:

Just found another listing for a lot. Most of the figures in this collection are in rough shape. There are 2 main things of significance: retired beluga calf and the absurdly, next-to-impossible to find Pacific white-sided dolphin.

Not quite new but I thought was worth mentioning...

Yowie "Leopard Shark" (not really moreso a baby zebra shark). Only 2 left, just purchased mine: https://www.ebay.com/itm/164194988241?hash=item263ac8b0d1:g:Di0AAOSw8MJeubOh

@callmejoe3 - I like that last lot for the Pacific white-sided, but also the spotted dolphin and octopus (I still don't have a giant Pacific octopus)

Your welcome!!! I just randomly looked up vintage shark toy on eBay for fun and this popped up! I knew someone out there would be looking for one. I was lucky to find one in a lot 11 years ago.

EpicRaptorMan

Lmao I was tempted to snag the Crocodile Shark, but I didn't need any of the others 😂

Me either, but I'll put them in the toy donation bin.

I was scoping around for unrelated models, but I came across the retired sperm whale calf for the MBA collection. Easy recommend for under 10 USD!

Those are by Sbabam and I have the ones I want :)

Ah, that's why they're "squishy"! Whatever else you wanna say about Sbabam, they sure have an impressive species diversity.

I forwarded the link to a friend and colleague who is also a parasitologist and she bought it! if the long skinny thing represents Demodex, she'll send me one :-D

A good Demodex is the one parasite I would certainly buy. They're so cute! These don't look enough like them to pique my interest though.
