Thanks Andrew, you're quick than me haha. If you guys want to buy it, I recommend you to use the discount code from our collaborators or the mailer, it will be cheaper. We'll be officially announcing the release starting tomorrow, and we'll send out a mailer then to those of you who have already subscribed. ;)  ;)

That set looks so good!

Do you have a species list @Kenc ?

Hahaha sorry @Kenc ...

Ok, after digesting it I have to say that I was at first a bit dissapointed (still was going to get it), but I'm liking it more and more. I think I'm a bit off with the sizes...

I'd only be using the mammals for now, all are new species except the ringed that I think can fit with the CollectA and the ruffed, that I'll probably repaint as red (I think ToyMany would have been wise if already done this themselves).

As for the rest, if only the frog and turtle were a bit smaller... That's a shame. Because the chameleons will need to be way smaller to satisfy me and I know that quite a challenge for manufacturing...

@sbell species are detailed in the ToyMany webpage

bmathison1972

hey all

Toymany shared the species list with me; here is the official list:

Radiated tortoise, Astrochelys radiata
Lowland streaked tenrec, Hemicentetes semispinosus
Nosy Hara leaf chameleon, Brookesia micra
Verreaux's sifaka, Propithecus verreauxi
Madagascar Tomato Frog, Dyscophus antongilii
Satanic Leaf-tailed Gecko, Uroplatus phantasticus
Eastern Lesser Bamboo Lemur, Hapalemur griseus
Madame Berthe's Mouse Lemur, Microcebus berthae
Black-and-white Ruffed Lemur, Varecia variegata
Ring-tailed Lemur, Lemur catta
Fossa, Cryptoprocta ferox
Parson's chameleon, Calumma parsonii

I forgot to thank you @Kenc  for raising to ToyMany the fossa request!

Just in case it works again, I think many of us would LOVE to see a coati and a binturong ;)

Binturongs are my kiddo's favorite animal. That would be an instant buy for me.
I like turtles.

Same. I printed and painted a couple, but it's not the same. Especially for kids.

Gwangi

That's a solid list. Looking forward to the set.

I got an email from Toymany that they are finalizing a set of 'Small North American Animals'. I am not sure if that means the species are small or the figures are small (miniature; i.e. like tube-sized). It looks like they are waiting to hear back from the factory before finalizing the species.

I'll provide the list when allowed.

I will probably be getting this set and will review it as an 'overview' on the Blog, allowing others to do in-depth reviews of individual figures.

I'm kind of hoping for small species...

I really like that they included a grey fox!

Gwangi

I like the gray fox too, one of my most wanted species. I also like that turkey but it's a bit odd that it's displaying while resting.

yes that's the highlight for me, and even in miniature I think it will work well alongside my other wild canids!

BlueKrono

An alligator snapper? My favorite animal in the world! Instant buy.
I like turtles.

bmathison1972

Since it's small what do you think about using the white-tailed deer as a Key deer? Or possibly a fawn for a 'standard-sized' white tail?

I'm kind of hoping that they're inspired to do other regional mini sets, with a mix of overly familiar and unusual (no wolf, but a coyote AND grey fox? Crazy!) @Kenc

Kenc confirmed; the deer is a Key deer!
